Ebstein’s Anomaly

When the tricuspid valve is malformed in the way that is referred to as Ebstein’s Anomaly, the tricuspid valve doesn’t work properly. The main problem is how much the valve leaks. If someone’s tricuspid valve only leaks a little, they may be entirely healthy. Unfortunately some babies have a tricuspid valve that leaks so badly that they become very ill the moment they are born.
